Chief Warden Training

The Chief Warden course, is intended for those responsible for implementing emergency response plans in large organizations, buildings, or establishments. It builds on the skills learned in PUAFER and focuses on developing the leadership skills necessary to lead emergency response procedures. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of natural leadership qualities during life-threatening emergencies and building evacuations.

Evacuation Exercises

According to the Australian Standard AS 3745-2010, facilities are required to conduct an Evacuation Exercise every year. Emergency Planning Australia offers fire and evacuation training to ensure that all occupants can evacuate the building quickly and safely with confidence.

The Tenant Briefs offer guidance and training on emergency response procedures and warden skills for tenants of shopping complexes. They are particularly useful for those who cannot attend group training sessions, as facilities with low occupancy or multiple individual tenants.

Health & Age Care
Emergency Coordinator

Our program provides specialised training to your staff on conducting a lockdown or evacuation based on the facility type and the occupants' level of disability, mobility, and dependency. This training is tailored for health and aged care facilities and is fully compliant with AS4083-2010: Planning for Emergencies - Healthcare Facilities.

Emergency Controlled Organisation Hats

During an emergency, it is important for emergency control organisation personnel to be easily recognisable to ensure that building occupants and emergency services can identify them. The Fire Warden caps serve as a means of identifying emergency personnel during such situations, as required by the Standard 3745-2010.

Evacuation Diagrams

A shift to acrylic is happening as A3 snap frames are becoming less popular due to their tendency to fade, disintegrate, and discolor, which is not suitable for a multimillion-dollar building's aesthetics.

Emergency Planning Australia offers professionally designed evacuation diagrams. Our process includes a site visit to mark up the floor plan, a dedicated in-house expert safety officer who designs your evacuation diagram, and the addition of your company logo. Your diagram is printed in A3 size in either landscape or portrait, color, and only 4.5mm thick. A Certificate of Compliance is issued as per Australian Standards 3745 section 3.5.

Acrylic diagrams are available with a sleek, high-gloss finish, and we provide installation services for your convenience. These diagrams are designed to float 1-2 cm from the wall, providing a frameless, sharp appearance that will not fade under sunlight or artificial lighting.

Active Incident Training

While terrorist attacks in Australia are not common, it is important we know how to respond if the need arises.

Emergency Planning Australia provides advice on what everyone can do if facing attacks from active armed offenders (e.g. guns and knives), improvised explosive devices (eg bombs or other explosives), chemical weapons or vehicles.

The training provides details for employees, particularly those who work in businesses that operate in crowded places, such as stadiums, shopping centres, transport hubs, pedestrian malls, pubs, clubs, hotels, bar and café precincts, places of worship, movie theatres, tourist attractions and outdoor spaces.
